The Canon EOS 1100D Digital SLR Camera is a great entry-level DSLR model that hosts an abundance of features.
Peak performance
The superior megapixel image quality ensures crystal-clear photography enhanced by an APS-C sized sensor, whilst the 14-bit DIGIC 4 image processor provides intricate depth of detail and tone.
This image processor also helps retain a high level of detail in low light and without the use of a flash, which is aided by the Canon EOS 1100D's ISO 100-6400 sensitivity range. You will be capturing different compositions worthy of putting in a portfolio!
The Wide-Area 9-Point AF system utilises excellent sensor functionality by rapidly mapping nine AF points across the frame.
This ensures quick isolation of moving and fixed objects and vivid image quality. You won't miss that rare photo opportunity ever again! The advanced iFCL exposure metering dissects the image into 63 zones and analyses it to apply optimal combinations of shutter speed, aperture and ISO, resulting in stunningly professional images.
Handy settings
The theme-based settings can be applied to find the best exposure, focus and drive-mode settings for you whilst Canon's Basic + Technology allows you to customise ambience and lighting.
A 6.8cm (2.7"), 230,000-dot LCD screen displays clear, pre-shot images whilst providing access to the camera's menu system. You can find your way through the camera with no trouble and select your settings with ease.
Choose your lens
The Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 lens is included with this camera, with an approximate 29-88mm equivalent focal length. A Super Spectra coating reduces flare and ghosting whist benefitting from fast auto focus with 25cm close focusing distance.
Also included is the Canon EF 75-300 mm F4-5.6 III lens is also enhanced by a Super Spectra coating and has a 1.5m close focusing distance. You can enjoy different focal ranges, experiment with the depth-of-field and take your photography to the next level!
