iPod nano adds video capture to the
mix for the first time in an iPod. It also boasts a generous 2.2-inch display
with a higher resolution than before, a built-in speaker, voice recording, a
pedometer, and much more - without growing a millimetre or gaining a gram!
The amazing Apple iPod nano is only 6.2 mm thick, but it
squeezes in a video camera that records spontaneous moments in clear VGA
resolution. Capture your friends having fun, add special effects like film
grain or motion blur, sync with your computer, and upload to the Internet. It's
that easy to take and share videos!
The iPod nano now includes an FM radio with Live Pause, which does just
what you think! You can pause the radio for up to 15 minutes, then continue where
you left off without missing a beat - or fast-forward to the live broadcast
again. Even better, the FM tuner lets you see the names of the songs and
artists playing on the programme.
And because the Apple iPod nano is so small and light, it's
an excellent exercise companion. VoiceOver tells you the title and artist of
the tune you're enjoying so you don't have to look at the screen - especially useful
when you're jogging in the city or cycling around the park! The built-in
pedometer records every step of your run - or walk - and syncs with Nike+
shoes, iTunes, and nikeplus.com to provide detailed workout reports.
Of course the 8 GB Apple iPod nano does the things you love about
the previous nano too. It stores up to 2,000 songs or 8 hours of video, has a
24-hour battery life, and uses the tactile Click Wheel for responsive menu navigation. Portable entertainment
just got even better!
