The Apple iMac MC812 21.5" All-in-One pioneered all-in-one convenience over a decade ago, but it's never before achieved this sublime blend of sophisticated design and professional performance! The precision-forged aluminium enclosure wouldn't look out of place in an art museum, and inside lies a thoroughly impressive computer.
Sporting a gorgeous 21.5-inch IPS LCD screen with Full HD 1920 x 1080 resolution, the iMac MC812 21.5" All-in-One offers a fantastically vivid view of your digital world. All who dabble with photos, video, or graphic design will be blown away by this LED-backlit, widescreen display - but it will also delight movie buffs and casual web surfers!
The quad-core, Hyper-Threading 2.7 GHz Core i5 processor zooms through demanding workloads, while smooth graphics are provided by the highly competent AMD Radeon HD 6770M graphics processor and 512 MB of dedicated GDDR5 video memory.
Sweet Apple computing
Apple's famous attention to detail is exemplified in several little innovations that make everyday use more enjoyable. For example, the included Magic Mouse features a touch-sensitive surface to bring trackpad-like gestures to the desktop, while the wireless keyboard eliminates clutter. The FaceTime HD webcam at the top of the display adds video-chat capabilities, and two powerful 17-watt speakers deliver astonishing sound quality and volume - brilliant for music and movies.
The Apple iMac MC812 21.5" All-in-One also offers comprehensive connectivity, including four USB 2.0 ports, a high-speed FireWire 800 port, an SDXC memory card slot, Gigabit Ethernet, Wireless N networking, Mini DisplayPort output, Bluetooth, and combined optical and analogue audio in and out ports. Also present is the blisteringly fast new Thunderbolt port, which offers input/output speeds which, at up to 10Gbps, are more than 20 times faster than USB 2.0 and 12 times faster than FireWire 800. Thunderbolt can deliver support for video and eight-channel audio and easily hook up with HDMI-compatible devices via an adapter.
